Instead of drowning in a single overwhelming chat room where messages get lost, Zelos breaks conversations into specific spaces that make sense for your team.

A thorough walkthrough of Zelos live messaging:

The heart of the system is its task-specific chat rooms. When you create a task, it automatically gets its own chat space. Only people signed up to that task can see and participate in the conversation. It's dynamic too – as  new people sign up to the task, they'll gain access to the chat history and can join the discussion. This keeps work conversations focused and relevant.

Group chats come in two flavors: public and private. Anyone can join a public group and its chat, while private groups (and their chats) are add-only through administrators.

Administrators can set chats to "admin-only" mode if they want to use them for announcements or newsletters without member responses.

Managing notifications: While notifications are on by default, each user can customize their settings for each chat. If a particular chat gets too busy, you can turn off notifications but still check messages when it's convenient. This helps team members stay focused without missing important information.

Private messages: Team members can directly message administrators but cannot send private messages to each other. This isn't an oversight – it's a deliberate choice for privacy and safety. Instead, team members are encouraged to use group chats and task-specific chats for collaboration. Administrators can still create focused group chats if team members need to work together on specific projects.
